About this Event
Did you know that Portsmouth’s trees do far more than brighten our streets and green spaces? They help support wildlife, improve air quality, provide shade and contribute to the character of our city.
Join us for The wonderful world of Portsmouth’s trees, an engaging talk exploring the many benefits of trees and the important role they play in Portsmouth. You'll also have the opportunity to meet the Portsmouth & Southsea Tree Wardens, find out more about their work and discover how you can get involved in helping our urban forest thrive.
There will also be a range of interactive activities, including designing a tree tag to encourage people to water newly planted trees, suggesting locations for future tree planting on a community map, and sharing stories about the Portsmouth trees that are special to you.
Spaces are limited to 30 attendees, so advance booking is essential. Book your place today and join us in celebrating the wonderful world of Portsmouth's trees.
