The Women’s Wellbeing & Equity Summit is a one-day convening dedicated to advancing the health, wellbeing, and empowerment of Black women and girls.Hosted by 2nd Shift Playbook, a growing platform and community dedicated to supporting women navigating the intersection of work, caregiving, leadership, and personal wellbeing, this conference will bring together 150–200 Black women, clinicians, healthcare leaders, advocates, students, and community partners for an immersive day of education, healing, and connection. The conference will be held on October 17, 2026 at the Bennett Global Center in Greensboro, NC.
Black women continue to experience some of the most persistent and preventable health disparities in the United States—from maternal mortality and chronic disease to mental health challenges, menopause care, and financial insecurity. At the same time, Black women are the backbone of families, healthcare workforces, and community leadership. The Women’s Wellbeing & Equity Summit was created to meet this moment by offering evidence-based education, culturally responsive care conversations, spiritual restoration, and practical tools for lifelong wellbeing.
Our program will feature nationally respected voices, including best-selling author Dr. Uché Blackstock as the main keynote speaker. Breakout sessions will address maternal and public health, menopause, mental health and body image for Black girls, financial wellbeing and generational wealth, emerging science on GLP-1 medications, spiritual wellness, and personalized speed coaching.
