About this Event
Join us on Saturday, October 17th at The Picklr Greensboro for a high-energy, fun-filled day of pickleball with Hands for Hearts! Whether you're a seasoned pro or picking up a paddle for the first time, this tournament is built for everyone to play, compete, and make a difference for the Sorrell family. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the family as they journey through the unimaginable grief of losing a child to sudden cardiac arrest.
20% of all registration fees will go directly back to our amazing venue partner, The Picklr, to support local play!
Tournament Format & Divisions
We’re keeping the competition balanced and fair.
- Guaranteed Play: Pool play structure ensures everyone is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games!
- Brackets for All Levels: Based on pool play results, top seeds advance to the Advanced bracket, middle seeds to Intermediate, and lower seeds to Beginner.
- Age Divisions: Separate brackets for Under 50 and Over 50 to keep gameplay level.
- Prizes: Medals and awesome prizes from local businesses will be awarded to the winners across brackets!
Registration Details
- Cost: $30 per player.
- Format: Bring Your Own Partner (BYO Partner).
- Sign-Up Options: You can register as a cohesive team together, or sign up individually! If you sign up solo, you will be assigned a partner via the tournament brackets.
Important: Action Required for Players
While registration is processed here on Eventbrite, the actual event, brackets, and live scoring will be managed via the Swish App (which we are lucky to utilize for free!).
⚠️ Highly Recommended: Please download the free Swish app on your phone ahead of time to seamlessly join the event and submit your team info.
