My Why — The Heart Behind Empowered to ConquerHer
From a young age, I believe there has been a calling on my life to encourage, empower and walk alongside women and young girls.
My journey has not always been easy. I became a young mother and, throughout my life, I have experienced many challenges, including trauma, mental health struggles, broken relationships and friendships, difficult environments and homelessness.
There were seasons when I felt broken, lost and uncertain about what my future would look like.
But through every season, God continued to carry me. The experiences that once felt like they would break me became part of my testimony.
Along my journey, I found myself having meaningful conversations with women and young girls, sharing openly about the things I had experienced and overcome. I began to see how my story could encourage someone else, give someone hope, and remind them that what they are going through does not have to define where they are going.
Those encounters helped me recognise that this was more than simply a desire to help people—it was a calling.
Empowered to ConquerHer is my faith being put into action.
It has been created to provide a safe, encouraging and empowering space where women and young girls can feel seen, heard and supported; where we can have honest conversations about life, healing, identity, faith and purpose; and where women can be reminded of the strength that already exists within them.
I don’t come as someone who has had a perfect journey. I come as someone who was a broken vessel that has God mend A woman who has lived through difficult chapters, overcome many of them, and believes that our experiences can become testimonies that help someone else keep going.
My story is part of my ministry.
My testimony is part of my purpose.
And Empowered to ConquerHer is the beginning of that vision becoming a reality.
