What does the season know that your journal pages haven’t heard yet?Join me for the fall nature journaling retreat in Boulder, CO!
Autumn doesn’t hurry or apologize. Leaves loosen and fall while the pines stay green, and the whole living world practices release and endurance side by side. Join us in person in Boulder for three hours outdoors, where the blank page becomes a point of connection with the more-than-human world.
This is not journaling as recording. Through word, sketch, and color, we’ll listen to wind through branches, the hush of pine needles, and the quiet murmur of the ground beneath us, and let our wild souls answer. Ink becomes prayer. Color becomes conversation. Each page becomes an offering.
What we’ll do together
· Wander slowly
· Connect deeply with our inner and outer wildness
· Spend time in conversation with wild nature
· Close in circle, sharing as inspired (always optional)
Details

What to bring
A journal or sketchbook · a pen or pencil, plus any color you love to work with · water · weather-appropriate layers · a seat pad or small folding stool · sturdy closed-toe shoes, since leaves and needles can be slippery
This is a casual, bring-your-own-supplies gathering held outdoors. We continue in light rain, wind, or chill. If there is severe weather, everyone registered will be emailed by 9 AM that morning.
No art or journaling experience is needed. Your pages need not be beautiful to anyone but the land and your soul. Come as you are, with curiosity.
