Join author, alpinist, and Buddhist practitioner Michael Schauch for a reading and conversation about his new book, Anattā: Heart of Wisdom.
About this Event

Blending contemplative essays and poetry from his journeys in the mountains, author Michael Schauch's new book Anattā: Heart of Wisdom (Hohm Press) explores the Buddhist teaching of anattā, "non-self," and what it can offer in uncertain times: a way of loosening our grip on who we think we are and finding stable ground in times of change.

Michael will share stories and passages from the book, followed by a conversation with Boulder transformational coach Laura Seraydarian.

Come to listen, reflect, and ask your questions.

“Schauch writes about liberation—not through escape but through intimacy with life as it is.” —Sharon Salzberg, author of Lovingkindness

“Anatta is a beautiful presentation of what the Buddhists call shunyata— an ultimate Nonduality.” —Ken Wilber, author of Finding Radical Wholeness
