📚🌿 BOOK LAUNCH, AUTHOR TALK & SIGNING AT CALBOURNE WATERMILL 🌿📚We're delighted to announce that our very own Gail from The Wight Soul will be celebrating the launch of her beautiful new book, Bramble & Heartwood, and we'd love you to join us.
Gail is a talented local artist, author and illustrator whose love of nature shines through her paintings, poetry and creative work.
Bramble & Heartwood – A Journal of Thoughts, Poetry & Illustrations from Nature** is so much more than an ordinary diary.
Designed to be enjoyed throughout the year, this beautiful journal invites you to slow down, reconnect with nature and make a little time for yourself.
Inside, you'll discover poetry, illustrations, reflections on the changing seasons, the meanings and symbolism of the full moons, and space to record your own thoughts, plans and observations.
With weekly diary pages, monthly reflections and room for ideas to grow, it's a journal you can begin at any time of year.
🌿 Join us for a special afternoon with Gail.
Gail will be giving a talk about her book and the inspiration behind her work, followed by an opportunity to meet her, purchase a copy of Bramble & Heartwood and have it personally signed.
📅 Saturday 7th November 2026
🕑 2pm – 4pm
📍 The Café at The Water Mill, Calbourne
We're so pleased to be celebrating Gail's wonderful achievement and supporting one of our talented cottage family.
Whether you're a lover of nature, poetry, art or journaling, or simply enjoy supporting our wonderful Island creatives, we'd love to welcome you.
A beautiful book, a local author and a lovely afternoon celebrating creativity, nature and the written word.
We look forward to seeing you there.
With love,
