This fascinating event shines the spotlight on the often-overlooked heroes of the railway network, the hardworking diesel shunters that kept Britain's railways moving behind the scenes.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can witness these powerful little locomotives demonstrating their remarkable strength, precision and versatility, with the rare opportunity to see several operating together.
Alongside the railway action, visitors can enjoy the popular Winter Ales Festival at Havenstreet Station.
Hosted by The Whistle Stop Café, the festival features a specially selected range of rich seasonal ales, hearty winter brews, classic stouts and warming porters.
Relax beside the roaring log burner and soak up the atmosphere whilst enjoying great company and fantastic refreshments.

Admission Information
Entry to the Havenstreet Station site, including access to the Winter Ales Festival, is FREE.
Visitors wishing to travel on the railway can purchase train tickets in advance or on the day from the ticket office.
