The Quincy Institute’s Veterans in Foreign Policy Initiative is honored to host a screening of The Weight: Veterans on Fighting America’s Foreign Wars in Raleigh.
A panel discussion will follow featuring two veterans featured in the documentary, former U.S. Army Captain Allison Jaslow and Adam Weinstein, director of the Veterans in Foreign Policy Initiative. The panel will explore the relationship between civilians, veterans, and the political leaders who make decisions about war, as well as the responsibilities the country assumes when it sends service members into conflict.
The screening will take place on Mondauy, October 26th, 2026, at the Triangle Cinema in Six Forks. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. ET, and the approximately 30-minute documentary will begin at 7:15 p.m. followed by the discussion.
