Carlisle based band The Unsung are hosting a night to coincide with the launch of their album "Ideas about Ideas" and have hand picked other local acts to join them. Ideas about Ideas is a chronological journey through 14 of The Unsung"s songs recorded over the past four years; while the musical direction and lyrical themes have evolved and matured there is a thread of catharsis that runs through the album tying it together. Singer songwriter Anne-Marie Lewis-Skipper will be kicking off proceedings with her cosy charisma; offering a mix of heartfelt originals and stripped back pop covers. Next is The Long List: an acoustic trio with relatable lyrics and seamless harmonies. Adam R is one of the busiest musicians in the area: known recently for playing drums with Melanie Baker and touring with Murphy's Law; he's also a talented multi-instrumentalist and will be bringing his one man band to inject some energy. Exploding Head are the penultimate act: winners of BBC introducing best new emerging artist at Kendal Calling 2025 these folks really know how to write songs, Indie Poseidon is an absolute bangerDisclaimer:
