The Underground Presents - A Simple CureAfter the overwhelming success of our sold-out tribute shows celebrating the music of The Cure—packing out both The Playhouse Café & Theatre Restaurant and The Nelson Centre of Musical Arts to nearly 700 people combined—we’re bringing the show south to Christchurch and turning things up a notch with the addition of some Simple Minds.
On Saturday, October 17th, The Underground return to A Rolling Stone to bring you two iconic bands in one unforgettable night.
The evening kicks off with a full set of Simple Minds favourites, including Waterfront, Promised You a Miracle, Don’t You (Forget About Me), Ghost Dancing, Alive and Kicking, Once Upon a Time, and more.
We then follow it up with the very best of The Cure, featuring classics like A Forest, Pictures of You, Lullaby, Just Like Heaven, Push, Boys Don’t Cry and many more.
Together with guest musicians, this promises to be a tribute night like no other celebrating the songs of two of the most iconic bands of the 80s, brought to you live by The Undergound!
