Meet Cameron Michael Christopher
Meet Cameron, our precious miracle baby. Cameron’s story may come as a shock to most people because those who have met him would never know he was on the list awaiting a Heart Transplant. Our team of doctors always tells us this process “takes a village” so it is important to share our story. Cameron was diagnosed prenatally with Genetic Dilated Cardiomyopathy and properties of Restrictive Cardiomyopathy. While he is currently in well-compensated heart failure, his medical team determined he must be listed for a life-saving heart transplant to protect his other organs before severe symptoms take hold.
As his doctors remind us, navigating a pediatric organ transplant truly takes a village. The journey ahead involves specialized care, extensive travel, and lifelong medical support.
How Your Ticket & Donations Help
Proceeds from ticket sales and evening contributions go directly to support COTA in honor of Cameron.
The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) helps children and young adults who need a life-saving transplant by providing fundraising assistance and family support. COTA is the nation’s only fundraising organization solely dedicated to raising life-saving dollars in honor of transplant-needy patients. 100% of each contribution made to COTA in honor of our patients helps meet transplant-related expenses, and gifts to COTA are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
Can’t Attend in Person?
If you can’t make it to the show but would still like to support the campaign, please consider making a tax-deductible contribution directly to COTA for Cameron Michael.
