About this Event
The event of the year is here!!
Be ready to get down on some whitefish! Bring your favorite fly rod and nymphs in hopes of landing the biggest, smallest and most whitefish out of the crew—no restrictions on rod, tippet, and flies. As long as they are standard, they are good to go!
The Rules:
Sign in/register : 2pm - 6pm - Saturday, October 24th - pickup official tape measurer from Fly & Field Bend Shop.
Start : 7 am SHARP at Fly and Field- Sunday, October 25th.
MUST MEET AT FLY AND FIELD BEND!

Tournament End: 5 pm, anglers not checked into Fly and Field Outfitters by 5 pm will be disqualified. No exceptions!
Fishing zone: Anywhere in Central Oregon. Preferred fisheries, Lower Deschutes, Crooked River, and the Cascade Lakes.
Scoring Points: Every fish must be recorded with a digital camera or phone. Each measurement must include the official Whitefish Derby Ruler distributed at sign-in. Photos must clearly show the tape measure. The five largest fish can be recorded.
1 inch=1 point
Tiebreaker- the individual who has the most recorded fish for the day.
After: Anglers will meet back at the shop at 5 pm. There will be an award ceremony, libations & snacks for contestants.
