Join the South Carolina Shakespeare Company for THE TEMPEST, Shakespeare's enchanting tale of Prospero, a sorcerer-duke stranded on a mysterious island. When a storm of his own making washes his old enemies ashore, spirits, monsters, and young lovers collide in a story of power, forgiveness, and letting go.
For over 25 years, Shakespeare under the autumn sky has been one of Columbia's favorite fall traditions, and there's no better way to spend an October evening. It's a chance to gather with friends, family, and neighbors, free of charge, for a magical night in one of the city's most beautiful historic settings. We can't wait to share it with you!
