A Veterans Weekend Community GatheringOn Saturday, November 7, the ring comes outside.
Boxing clubs from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and the St. Louis region will gather in Carbondale for an afternoon of boxing sparring, community, and camaraderie.
From 2 PM to 5 PM, athletes will share the ring in a non-sanctioned exhibition smoker focused on learning, respect, and skill development. No winners. No losers. Just fighters helping fighters get better.
As the sun begins to set, the gloves come off and the celebration begins.
BBQ. Cold beer. Live music. Veteran recognition. Community.
The final bell rings. The ring becomes the stage.
