The Statement Bowl: Specialty Glazing Workshop
Create a one-of-a-kind statement piece for your home using beautiful specialty stoneware glazes. Choose from our selection of bowls and learn how to layer and combine glazes to create rich color, movement and unexpected effects during firing.
No pottery or glazing experience is needed—we’ll help you select a glaze combination and guide you through the application process.
This workshop is also eligible as a Return to Glaze session if you previously made a clay project with us and would like to return to apply your own specialty glazes.
Pricing
A $10 registration fee reserves your seat and includes specialty glaze instruction and supplies. Ceramics are selected and purchased separately during the workshop and range from approximately $20–$60, depending on the bowl you choose.
Important Things to Know
Specialty glazes change, move and interact during firing. Final colors, patterns and finishes will vary from the samples, making every finished piece completely unique.
Ceramics is an unpredictable medium. Although we handle every piece with care, cracking, glaze imperfections and other unexpected results can occur during firing.
As this is a specialty firing, it may take up to 4-6 weeks for items to be kiln fired.
*Pictures are for reference only - your item(s) will be uniquely your own. Results with Stoneware glazes can vary significantly based on application and are less predictable than our standard line of pottery painting.
Before You Register:
- No cancels/reschedules within 48 hours of the class
- No credits, refunds or reschedules are permitted in the event of a no-show/late arrival.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to check-in and select aprons.
- Ages 16 and up.
- All people in class must be registered, no spectators
- We are a CASHLESS Studio. We accept all major credit cards and Apple Pay.
