Join SafeNest for a nonpartisan Town Hall Series featuring Nevada candidates for Governor and Attorney General. Each Town Hall will focus on domestic and sexual violence in Southern Nevada, addressing prevention, funding, offender accountability, access to services, and the policies needed to strengthen Nevada’s response.

As voters prepare for the November election, these public Town Halls will provide Southern Nevadans with an important opportunity to hear directly from the candidates about how they will prioritize these issues, protect survivors, and help build a safer Nevada.

This moderated Town Hall will focus exclusively on issues related to domestic and sexual violence; questions outside this scope will not be considered. To submit a question for consideration, please include it on this form. Attendees will also have an opportunity to submit questions at the event. Respectful audience participation is encouraged and welcomed.

About Nicole Cannizzaro:

Nicole Cannizzaro was born and raised in Las Vegas, where her parents worked as a bartender and a waitress. She was the first in her family to go to college, attending University of Nevada, Reno and UNLV’s Boyd School of Law. Cannizzaro served as a prosecutor in the Clark County District Attorney’s Office for eleven years, including as Chief Deputy in the Gang Unit. First elected to the State Senate in 2016, she became the first woman to serve as Senate Majority Leader during the 2019 session. She and her husband, Nate, live in Las Vegas with their three sons.
