Tirikantam is a London trio of friends united by ancient mysticism and its musical traditions, aiming for transcendence through sound, frequency and traditional melodies. Christina Deva, a Greek vocalist, builds layered voice and drone soundscapes rooted in esoteric drone folk. Rocha of Cynthia, who is Portuguese and Angolan, plays multiple instruments and brings a fresh approach to the Portuguese guitar and the kamancheh. Lauren Laroth, an English and Scottish singer and dancer, channels the forgotten female voice through chants and emotional melodies. Together they offer a folk and ceremonial sonic journey for everyone.
