Fly away on a magical journey with The Snowman…After the snow settles on a cold winter's day, a little boy builds a Snowman. Later that night, under the glittering stars, the Snowman comes to life! Together they fly through the night sky on a breath-taking journey, until the sun comes up and it's time to go home.
Based on the iconic tale by Raymond Briggs, the 1982 film is a beloved staple for families in the run-up to Christmas. Join us for an unforgettable experience as we show The Snowman film accompanied by a live brass band. The lyrical and evocative soundtrack featuring festive classics like ‘Walking in the Air’ – is sure to bring some Christmas magic to all.
Bring all the family to this relaxed family performance. The first half of the program features Christmas classics suitable for a family audience, with some songs and games to join in with and after the interval (with an opportunity to try out some brass instruments!) we will show the film with the DMA Brass Band providing the soundtrack.
