Grow Revenue Without Working More is the first session in The Smarter Business Programme, a practical workshop series designed to help rural SMEs improve performance through better use of process, data, digital tools and AI readiness.
Many small businesses are working hard, but still losing valuable time to admin, duplicated effort, manual processes, missed follow-ups or tasks that rely too heavily on the owner. This session will help you step back, identify where time and revenue may be leaking from your business, and choose one practical improvement that can create capacity without adding more hours to your working week.
During the session, you will explore how everyday business processes — from enquiries and bookings to quotations, delivery, customer follow-up and payment — can affect sales, customer experience and growth. You will map one key workflow in your business, identify bottlenecks or avoidable friction, and consider where simple improvements, better data, digital tools or low-risk AI opportunities could help.
This is not a technical workshop and you do not need to be confident with digital tools or AI to attend. The focus is on practical, proportionate improvements that fit the realities of small and rural businesses with limited time, people and budget.
By the end of the session, you will leave with a clearer understanding of where capacity is being lost in your business and one realistic 30-day improvement to help you save time, improve consistency and support revenue growth.
The session will be facilitated by Cynthia Moore, an expert coach and facilitator with over 20 years’ experience in operations and automation. Cynthia works with business owners to help them identify practical ways to improve performance, simplify processes and make better use of the tools and resources they already have.
