Step inside historic 101 Donegall Street for an atmospheric afternoon of stories, folklore and strange tales inspired by Victorian Belfast.
Join two storytellers as they take us back to the streets of Victorian Belfast, exploring the people, places, superstitions and stories of a rapidly changing city. Expect tales of everyday life alongside curious happenings, old beliefs and a few darker stories perfect for the Halloween season.
At the heart of the event sits our Victorian Story House – a miniature doll’s house filled with objects, characters and clues, each with a story waiting to be uncovered. Throughout the afternoon, our storytellers will use the house and its curious contents to help bring stories from the past to life.
Taking place within the historic surroundings of 101 Donegall Street, itself a building with more than two centuries of stories to tell, this relaxed storytelling event brings together local heritage, imagination and just the right amount of October spookiness.
