More than a book club: A community for women who want to read, grow, and connect.
The Second Collective is a monthly Montréal book club and community for ambitious women interested in personal growth, meaningful conversations, and building genuine friendships.
Each month, we’ll gather around one thoughtfully selected book exploring personal development, creativity, entrepreneurship, psychology, or the experiences and ideas of inspiring entrepreneurs.
But the book is only the beginning.
Each meeting will include a facilitated book discussion, as well as guided socializing and conversation prompts designed to make meeting new people feel easier, even if you’re introverted or attending alone. You don’t need to know anyone before you arrive.
The goal is to create a space where meaningful connections can continue beyond the meeting. If you meet someone you’d love to get to know better, there will be opportunities to stay connected and perhaps turn a conversation into a coffee date or a new friendship.
And because discovering Montréal is part of the experience, we’ll meet in a different beautiful space and neighbourhood each month, from cafés and creative spaces to coworking spaces and unique venues around the city.
