Program Description:
This course reviews the indications for gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary endoscopy in small animal practice, with an emphasis on recognizing cases that warrant endoscopic evaluation and referral. We will review current literature and specific case examples. Participants will learn how endoscopic findings can guide diagnosis and treatment planning, as well as strategies for effectively communicating the benefits, limitations, and potential risks of endoscopy to pet owners.
