Grassroots: Connecting, Supporting & Strengthening Grassroots Sport
Grassroots sport is the foundation of our communities - giving young people opportunities, building confidence, creating friendships and bringing people together.
Grassroots is a new Sprinter Group bringing together people involved in grassroots sport across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, with the ambition to grow the network across the UK.
Our monthly meet-ups will provide an inspirational, supportive and safe environment for club founders, volunteers, coaches, committee members, sponsors and others involved in grassroots sport to connect, share experiences and learn from one another.
Through our network, we’ll look at how we can:
- 🤝 Connect grassroots clubs and the people behind them
- 💡 Share ideas, knowledge and experience
- 📈 Develop business and sustainability skills
- 💰 Increase awareness and raise funding for grassroots sport
- 🎤 Learn from inspiring speakers and industry experts

- 🌱 Build a stronger, more sustainable future for grassroots clubs
We believe that, by coming together and supporting one another, we can create a genuine support infrastructure for grassroots sport... helping clubs become stronger, more sustainable and better equipped to serve the next generation.
This is more than a networking group. It’s a community with a shared purpose.
