The raven writing group is an alternative & queer run writers event based in Glasgow! We meet up month a month for a few hours on the second Thursday of every month ~ to write, talk and enjoy the company of fellow writers.

Our mission and goal with The Raven writing group is to give our members a supportive and dedicated space to work on their own projects while building connections and networking with the writer community!
Becoming a member at The Raven is open to everyone regardless of age, background or writing experience. We strive to create an inclusive, kind and respectful environment for all writers whether you have been writing for 10 years or 10 minutes!

All we require of you is to be kind and respectful to all attendees, venue staff, and the venue itself.

We do not tolerate bigotry or abuse of any kind. Behaviour or language that promotes misogyny, racism, transphobia, queerphobia, ableism or pro genocide will result in you being removed, banned, or reported if needed.

Our goal is to create a safe space for everyone, especially those who face discrimination and barriers to the creative industries for any reason.
