Portland was once America’s bike capital, with bike commuting rates several times the national average. Post-COVID, the street infrastructure remains, but riders haven’t returned at the same pace as other commuters.

Panelists from PSU, Better Block PDX, PBOT, All Bodies On Bikes, and attendees will dig into the data, rethink street design, and evaluate end-of-trip amenities like secure bike parking, lockers, and showers.
Together, we’ll map out potential steps to bring riders back…reducing traffic congestion, benefiting the environment, boosting physical exercise, and building faster daily commutes.
