Arts & Wellbeing The Power of Emory COMPASS Documentary Screening

Join us for an evening of storytelling, reflection, and community.
The Emory Centers for Public Health Training and Technical Assistance (Emory Centers) and the Emory COMPASS Center invite you to a special screening of The Power of Emory COMPASS, a documentary that explores how art, storytelling, and lived experience shape the HIV narrative and public health practice in the U.S. South. The film centers the voices of the public health leaders and advocates and features Emory COMPASS Center’s partners, coaches, and community leaders whose creativity, resilience, and relationships drive meaningful change across Southern communities.
Following the screening, stay for a talkback conversation and networking with panelists; Emory Centers leadership and staff; Rollins students, staff, and faculty; and community members. Together, we’ll reflect on the intersections of arts, wellbeing, storytelling, and public health, and how these approaches strengthen community connection and healing.

Delicious food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Feel free to come straight from class or work!
🚗Location & Parking
The screening will be held at the Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) in the Claudia Nance Rollins (CNR) Auditorium located in the CNR Building. RSPH is located at 1518 Clifton Rd., Atlanta, GA 30322.
Free parking is available in the Michael Street Employee Parking Deck. For accurate directions to the parking deck and the entrance to the CNR Building use 3 Rollins Way. Please allow a few minutes for parking and getting to the Claudia Nance Rollins (CNR) building. The CNR Auditorium is on the entrance level of the building.
