Meet at 10am... in the parking lot at The Point Comfort Station in Cape Henlopen Park. The parking lot is the area on the right, right before the very top/end of the road.To get to the Point, you follow the signs in Cape Henlopen toward the Fishing Pier. But, then you pass the Fishing Pier and follow signs to the Point. ** Do not be confused by the sign for ‘Herring Point’. Herring Point and ‘The Point’ are at opposite ends of the park.

This is a 2.4-mile loop trail near Lewes, Delaware in Cape Henlopen park.
Generally considered a moderate route, but is very windy and you will be walking in sand. It takes an average of 43 min to complete. This is a popular trail for running and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
The Point is a natural wonder - the curved tip of Delaware where the Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. Don't miss this unique spot in the park for birding, wildlife sitings, and sweeping views of the water from high atop the dune.
You'll need to leave pups at home — dogs aren't allowed on this trail.
