About this Event
In the run-up to Christmas, many of us find ourselves searching: for the right presents, the perfect plans, a quiet moment to ourselves. Beneath it all, we’re often looking for something simpler, an inner peace that doesn’t depend on everything going right.
In this half-day course, Kadam Lucy James shares Buddha’s practical advice for finding inner peace. Through teachings and guided meditations on letting go of attachment, developing wisdom and cultivating love, we’ll learn how to ease the pressure we put on ourselves, let go of unrealistic expectations and focus on what really matters.
When we change the way we relate to our experiences and to the people around us, we can meet Christmas, and life itself, with a calmer mind and a warmer heart.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re new to meditation or have been practising for years.
