FREE STAGE TECHNIQUE WORKSHOP (5:30 PM - 6:30 PM)
Kick off the evening with an interactive, hands-on masterclass led by performing artist Amanda Rogers. Drawing on over 25 years of stage performance experience as a touring singer-songwriter and nearly 15 years hosting concert events, Amanda shares essential, real-world stagecraft insights, including:
* Vocal & Physical Presence: Overcoming stage jitters and owning your space.
* Microphone & Sound Basics: Mic technique, stage monitoring, and communicating with sound engineers.
* Performance Flow: Preparation, Structuring your set, engaging an audience, and dynamic storytelling.
* Building Stage Confidence: Turning nervous energy into compelling live art.
OPEN-MIC & PEER SHOWCASE (6:30 PM - 8:30 PM)
Put what you’ve learned into practice right away! Following the workshop, take the stage in a welcoming, community-first setting.
* Perform for an Audience of Peers: Share your songs, poems, or performance pieces with a attentive group of fellow creatives who share your passion.
* Constructive & Encouraging Environment: Network, collaborate, and gain constructive artistic feedback from artists at every stage of their journey.
