Join Austin Classical Movement Institute in their first ever performance of The Nutcracker: Short & Suite!Picture this- Clara has followed her creative spirit and her love for a good holiday celebration to open the city's most whimsical bake shop.
Her friends are her most loyal customers, each bringing a new idea to life as they plan out thier holiday sweets menu. Clara simply never misses, each friend leaves feeling more excited for their confectionary creation than the last.
It's nearly time to close up shop when her most hurried friend swings by. Clara whips up one final magical idea, this time a delicate Coconut Cream Pie. They wish eachother well, she turns the key to the shop, and is suddenly hit with the gravity of the work that awaits her inside..
Will she finish in time? Who will be there to help? Join us on December 20th at the Cherrywood Center for this joyous, abbreviated, family-friendly performance of The Nutcracker: Short & Suite.
