THE NEXT CHAPTER is an in-person book launch and benefit for the local community, celebrating young people and their futures.
About the event
Please join author Kourtney Lynn for an evening celebrating a new chapter and the young people whose futures inspire us. Grown-Up Basics is a practical guide to the skills, decisions, and challenges of growing up. Inspired in part by the experiences of young people transitioning out of foster care, it’s a reminder that no one should have to figure everything out alone.
Enjoy an “almost fancy” evening of conversation, music, elegant finger foods, and special guests. Guests can support Oasis Center and its work with young people in our community, donate books to the center, and participate in a silent auction. Come celebrate the launch, connect with others who care about young people, and help turn the page toward possibility.

Arrival and attire
Parking is in the back of the building and wraps around. Enter through the entrance and take the stairs to the second floor. Suggested attire is dressy casual, or whatever makes you feel ready to celebrate.
