About this Event
The Employment Rights Act 2025 introduces the most significant changes to UK trade union law and industrial relations in a generation.
This employment law update for HR professionals will provide a round up of the overall reforms, with particular focus on the new trade union right of access, the duty to inform workers of their right to join a union, reforms to statutory recognition, changes to the industrial action framework and the enhanced protections for employees participating in industrial action.
Ailsa Hobson and Corina Dias from Sintons LLP will provide an overview of what is changing, when the changes take effect, and what it means for employers and HR teams and how organisations can prepare or respond in order to help manage legal risk and maintain positive and effective employee relations in an evolving industrial relations landscape.
