About this Event
Phillip Benn founded TMRL (The Music Research Lab) in 1983 while studying music at Kingsborough Community College. His goals were to build a record collection spanning all genres and to bring people together through music. TMRL advanced this mission by featuring top disc jockeys from around the world at its events, uniting people of all nationalities and races to celebrate life and music. TMRL evolved into a production company and collaborated with multi-talented people of all disciplines in the music industry that deserves recognition at the “Lifetime Achievement Awards.”
