🎃THE OCTOBER SHOW 🎃
🌀 Please join us for a very special Mill show! We've done twelve of these, and we want to celebrate our anniversary by putting on another fantastic show!!
🩵 The Mill is a monthly variety show & open mic that happens on the third Thursday of every month, raising money for charity. 🌟
The night begins with featured performances, and then we open the floor for our all-genres open mic.
This month's performances include:
🎹 music by folk-punk band The Kiosk Girls
🫀 poetry by Won Lee
👑 drag performance & short film screening series by Elle XL
🐴 "an adventure into fantasy, romance, and the marginal hearts of horses" by Sergio Soltero & Laura Hawkbaker
🩵 secret other things!

This month we are fundraising for Millstone Books, a Chicago-based micropress that prints poetry and prose out of a giant mill at the bottom of the ocean. Millstone has published many chapbooks like I, Triesis; this is my body, the only thing I own in its entirety; map of a bird; Millstone Magazine and has plan to publish a book-length poetry work in 2027.
