Join us for an afternoon of enchantment, history, and discovery on the shores of Lake Merritt on July 11th for the return of our annual Victorian Oddities Market at Camron-Stanford House.
The Jewel of Lake Merritt, Camron-Stanford House, stands as the last remaining Victorian mansion on the lake—a historic treasure currently awaiting its next chapter. This special event invites the community to help breathe life back into the landmark while experiencing a curated market and interactive experience unlike any other with Victorian-inspired offerings, antiques, rare books, taxidermy, handmade art, unusual curiosities, and extraordinary wares. Each booth has been chosen to evoke the elegance, mystery, and fascination of the Victorian era.
Throughout the afternoon, guests can enjoy music, immersive entertainment, workshops, and engaging experiences, creating a salon-style atmosphere reminiscent of gatherings from another century. Food and beverages will be available for purchase while you explore the market and lakeside gardens. Relax with friends or celebrate a special occasion with ODDitea service!

Did you know Camron-Stanford House has been shuttered since 2024? They need the help of our community to reopen their doors so generations from all walks of life can enjoy this historic venue with Lakeshore views. All proceeds from market ticket sales will go directly to the Camron-Stanford House Preservation Association to assist with upkeep of the house, gardens, and help establish new museum programs!

🎟 $10 General Admission (TIMED TICKET ENTRY 12–6pm) – In order to provide the best event experience at THIS event, we're offering timed ticket entry for General Admission. Please select an entry time (stay as long as you like!). Ticket includes entry to our highly curated Victorian Oddities Market as well as access to our highly curated Victorian Oddities Market, workshops, entertainment, food, tarot, and self-guided tours with commentary from docents and house historians.
🎟 $85 VIP Admission (11am Entry) - VIP ticket holders gain exclusive access to early shopping an hour before the public! You'll be greeted in grand style at the door with a glass of sparkling apple cider or bubbles, light bites, shopping tote, and annual membership to the Museum. This is a great way to support the museum as well as enjoy access to events and exhibits all year 'round! General Admission to the oddities market is included. Valid anytime between 11am and 6pm.

🎟 $80 TEA TICKET: Includes General Admission (valid from 12-6pm) with a 45 minute seating on the veranda or lawn to enjoy a pot of ODDitea and a special boxed luncheon with savory sandwiches and sweet treats & confections. Patrons also get to keep the vintage tea cup and saucer! Options include traditional (egg, cucumber, and chicken salad) OR vegan/GF option (cucumber, avocado, and small salad). Due to the nature of service, we cannot accommodate folks with food allergies at this time.
WORKSHOPS: Tickets on sale soon! (Workshops are add-onss and DO NOT INCLUDE ADMISSION-you must purchase an admission ticket to take a class)
Chocolate & Confections of the Victorian era dive into an immersive, interactive, and fun presentation on sweet treats from the late 1800's. More details coming..

** Workshops and Tea Service are one ticket per seat-all ages, NO exceptions! Seating is very limited.
The Menagerie is a safe place to come together in all things odd. NO Soliciting vendors or patrons, including flyering for other events or participating in any form of religious, political canvasing or outside event promotion. Take a business card. We have a ZERO tolerance policy. This means NO harassment or intimidation of any kind. Violating these policies will result in immediate removal from the premises.
