After surviving 49 years of ER chaos ( 39 years here in KGH) and surviving enough medical anomalies to fill a textbook, the hospital administration has finally deemed Dr. Shawn Spelliscy indestructible. To protect the rest of the medical community from feeling inadequate, retirement is the only option left.
