THE MADE SHOW BY NORMAL NEW YORK
Normal New York presents The MADE Show, a new special edition of Not-A-Normal Show at NYCEDC’s MADE Bush Terminal.
This October, Normal New York brings together 45+ makers, artists, designers, entrepreneurs, and independent creative businesses for three days in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, as part of Open House New York Weekend.
Created in partnership with MADE Bush Terminal, The MADE Show builds on the mission behind Not-A-Normal Show: creating physical platforms for independent businesses to be discovered, connect directly with new audiences, and grow through in-person retail.
Since 2024, Not-A-Normal Show has brought thousands of independent businesses into some of New York City’s most distinctive spaces, from Barneys New York and One Hanson Place to Manhattan Mall, Union Square, and beyond. The MADE Show introduces a new format within that platform, with a focus on Makers, Artists, Designers & Entrepreneurs and a more accessible entry point for emerging and independent creative businesses.
Shop a curated selection across fashion, jewelry, accessories, art, home, objects, beauty, food, and more, while meeting the people behind what you’re buying. Throughout the weekend, visitors can also experience artists and makers working live, creative programming, local food and beverage partners, and community-focused activations.
The partnership with MADE Bush Terminal creates a natural home for this new edition, connecting Normal’s independent retail community with a campus built around local production, creativity, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity.
ABOUT MADE BUSH TERMINAL
MADE Bush Terminal, short for Manufacturers, Artisans, Designers, and Entrepreneurs, is an ambitious urban redevelopment project in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, transforming a historic 36-acre waterfront property into a modern, mixed-use hub for local producers, fabricators, and creatives.
The project's core mission is to foster economic growth through local job creation, community engagement, and sustainable development while preserving the area's rich industrial heritage. By providing affordable spaces, job opportunities, public amenities and innovative retail programming, MADE Bush Terminal seeks to create a dynamic ecosystem where innovation, creativity, and tradition coexist, benefiting both businesses and the immediate local community.
