A little time. A little play. A few moments worth remembering.As part of the LOVE Project’s Love in Action Network Date Nights, we’re inviting Black couples to slow down, step in front of the camera, and celebrate the love they’ve built together.
Your 15-minute professional mini photoshoot is just one part of the date. Come early or stay after your session to enjoy refreshments, music, and time to connect with the Oshun Family Center team and other Black couples in our community.
During your session, there’s no pressure to be picture-perfect. You’ll have time to laugh, connect, flirt, hold each other close, and simply be together while our photographer captures the moments in between.
Think less *“perfect pose”* and more “this is us.”
Afterward, you’ll receive professionally edited digital photographs to keep as a reminder of your love in action.

Once you reserve your spot, you’ll receive instructions to select an available photoshoot time that works best for you. Session times are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

**Frequently Asked Questions**
***We’re not really “picture people.” Is this still for us?***\
Absolutely. You don’t need to know how to pose or be comfortable in front of the camera. Your photographer will offer guidance along the way. The goal is less formal photoshoot and more laughing, connecting, and capturing what feels like you.
***Is 15 minutes really enough time?***\
Yes! Mini sessions are intentionally short, sweet, and focused. You’ll have enough time to capture a variety of moments without the pressure or commitment of a full photoshoot.
***What should we wear?***\
Come dressed in whatever makes you feel good together! Coordinating is welcome, but matching isn’t required. Think date-night ready, comfortable, and authentically you.
***How many edited photos will we receive?***\
Each couple will receive three professionally edited, high-resolution digital images, delivered through a private online gallery with an easy-to-use download link.
***Can we choose our photoshoot time?***\
Yes. After reserving your spot, you’ll receive instructions for selecting an available session time. Spots are limited and time slots are first come, first served.
***Do we have to leave after our photoshoot?***\
Not at all! Your photoshoot may only be 15 minutes, but the experience doesn’t have to be. Come early or stay afterward to enjoy refreshments, music, and connection with other Black couples and the Oshun Family Center team.
***Who is this event for?***\
This experience is designed for Black couples at every stage of their relationship—dating, engaged, married, partnered, or simply building something meaningful together.
***Can we bring our children?***\
We love the little ones, but this particular experience is just for the two of you. Consider this your excuse for a mini date!
***What if we need to cancel?***\
