An intimate DBQ Magazine conversation exploring our relationship with sex culture, intimacy, and mental and sexual well-being.About this Event
What does the culture teach us about desire—and what does it leave unsaid about our well-being?
Join DBQ Magazine for The LoudTalks: Atlanta, an intimate evening exploring the state of sex culture and its relationship to mental health, sexual health, identity and connection.
Hosted and moderated by Dave Bridgeforth, the conversation brings together Brandon Karson, Gee Smalls and Juan Smalls for an honest exploration of our relationship with sex culture—how we participate in it, how it shapes our experiences of sex and intimacy, and what it means for our mental and sexual well-being.
The evening will also feature a special one-on-one conversation with Gee Smalls about his memoir, Black Enough, Man Enough: Embracing My Mixed Race and Sexual Fluidity, exploring self-acceptance, living authentically and what it means to define yourself on your own terms.
Expect personal stories, thoughtful perspectives and meaningful dialogue.
