About this Event
As the South's premier celebration dedicated to the Loc'd Hair Community and those with Natural Hair, The Loc Expo 2026 offers an immersive, one-day experience where enthusiasts can authentically celebrate their beauty, culture, and personal expression. This one-of-a-kind, one-day celebration is dedicated to honoring Loc’d and Natural Hair, embracing beauty, wellness, and the vibrant community that surrounds it.
The rise of the Natural Hair Movement has sparked a global shift, empowering individuals of all backgrounds to embrace their natural and Loc’d hair with pride. What began as a personal journey for many has evolved into a vibrant, connected community that shares tips, swaps products, and uplifts one another through stories of authenticity and self-love.
From classrooms and sports fields to boardrooms and military bases, natural hairstyles are breaking barriers and earning long-overdue acceptance in every corner of society. The Southern Loc Expo was born from this movement—to celebrate these strides, challenge lingering myths about Locs, and showcase the comfort, beauty, and dignity of wearing natural hair unapologetically.
