Edie May Hand's debut novel Dirtpickers, published this month by Bonnier Books, began life her dissertation project in 2022 while she was a member of the inaugural MA in Creative Writing class at Maynooth University. A native of Co. Meath, Edie has been writing for over a decade and is currently working on her second novel. Novelist Fiona Scarlett describes Dirtpickers as “truly unforgettable”.
Tanya Sweeney's debut novel Esther Is Now Following You was published earlier this year by Transworld Ireland. A newspaper columnist with extensive experience in outlets including The Dubliner, Stellar, Irish Tatler and The Irish Times, Tanya is currently a journalist at the Irish Independent and a regular contributor on Irish broadcast media. Of Esther is Now Following You, novelist Marian Keyes said: “People will love it." It became an instant Number One bestseller.
