Working on **velour paper**, I’ll guide you step by step as we build this handsome lion from the first layers through to the final details. We’ll explore how to create the rich golden and earthy tones of his face and mane, develop depth through layering, and bring those wonderful amber eyes to life.
You’ll learn how to tackle different fur textures without feeling the need to draw every individual hair, using a combination of soft pastels pan pastels and pastel pencils to create both soft blended areas and those all-important finishing details.
This workshop is suitable for those with some pastel experience. I’ll demonstrate each stage and work alongside you throughout the session.
All materials are provided, including your velour paper, pastels and pastel pencils, so simply come along, enjoy the process and leave with your own majestic lion portrait ready to be proud of.
