About this Event
KCU AGM & Community Celebration
Come and join us as we bring together our community, partners, volunteers, supporters, trustees and friends of KCU.
Our AGM is more than a formal meeting. It is an opportunity to pause, reflect on the year we have shared, celebrate the people who make KCU what it is, and look ahead to what comes next.
On the day
Welcome & Arrival
Come along, meet the KCU team, trustees, volunteers and our wider community. There will be time to connect, have a drink and settle in before the programme begins.
Welcome from KCU
An introduction to the afternoon and a chance to reflect on KCU’s journey, our 40+ year history and the role we continue to play in our communities.
Our Year in Review
A look at what KCU has achieved over the past year – the people we have supported, the partnerships we have developed, the opportunities we have created and the difference our community has helped us make.
From emergency support and financial resilience to education and learning, volunteering, community activities and our growing social enterprise work, we will share some of the stories behind the numbers.
Community Voices & Guest Speakers
We will hear from people and organisations connected to KCU and explore the importance of working together to build stronger, more resilient communities.
Guest speakers will be announced shortly.
Celebrating Our People
KCU is powered by people. We will take time to recognise the contribution of our volunteers, staff, trustees, partners and supporters who help make our work possible.
The Formal AGM
Our formal Annual General Meeting, including the opportunity to hear about KCU’s governance, achievements and plans for the year ahead.
Looking Forward
A glimpse into the future of KCU – our ambitions, developing services, new partnerships and how we can continue to respond to the changing needs of our communities.
Refreshments & Community Networking
Stay with us afterwards for refreshments, conversation and an opportunity to meet others who share KCU’s commitment to supporting local people and communities.
A little more than an AGM
We want this to be a chance to celebrate, connect and look forward.
Whether you have been part of KCU for many years, have recently become involved, are a partner organisation, volunteer, supporter or simply want to find out more about the work we do, you are warmly welcome.
We look forward to sharing the afternoon with you and celebrating everything that our community makes possible.
