The Lathums have announced 5 shows in 5 of Manchester’s most iconic venues to celebrate the 5th anniversary of their chart-topping debut album, How Beautiful Life Can Be in April 2027. Performing at Night & Day, Deaf Institute, Gorilla, New Century and O2 Ritz, the band will be performing the album in full alongside other fan favourites. This run of shows will see The Lathums return to intimate venues such as Night & Day and Gorilla, venues they haven’t performed at since before their debut album was released. They will also perform at Deaf Institute, O2 Ritz and New Century for the first time. These shows mark the band’s first in Manchester since two sold out nights at O2 Apollo in 2025.
The band say: “We’re really excited to be returning to some of the grassroots venues we played on our very first tours. There’s something special about those intimate rooms and the energy they bring, so coming back to them five years on feels pretty fitting. We’ll also be playing a couple of venues we’ve never played before, which we’re really looking forward to.”
How Beautiful Life Can Be went straight to Number 1 on the UK official charts. A deeply-affecting, truth-telling, joyously optimistic collection of 12 tracks, The Lathums’ story of resilience and hope captured the imagination of fans and became an instant classic.
