About this Event
Perimenopause, menopause, or post-menopause. Wherever you are in this transition, you belong here.
Join us at Balance Wellness for a monthly community built to ensure you are seen, heard, and understood. This is a judgment-free space to share experiences, gain clarity, and walk this path alongside others.
Monthly meet-ups are led by Balance Wellness, ensuring you get expert answers to your toughest questions.
Join us November 2 for our next Journey Through Menopause group, featuring Shannon Bateman, pelvic health physiotherapist with over 25 years of clinical experience and a special interest in menopause and women's health.
Shannon combines her physiotherapy background with a mindful, whole-body approach to help women better understand the physical changes that occur during perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
Menopause is about much more than hot flashes. Hormonal changes can influence muscle strength, joint health, sleep, energy, sexual well-being, bladder and bowel function, and pelvic floor health.
During this informative and interactive session, Shannon will explore how these changes affect women's bodies, address common misconceptions, and share practical, evidence-informed strategies involving movement, strength training, pelvic health, and lifestyle habits to support healthy aging.
Come with your questions and leave feeling more informed, empowered, and confident in navigating this next chapter of life.
This event is in-person at Balance and is FREE to attend – registration encouraged but drop-in are warmly welcomed. An online attendance option is available here. If you cannot attend please call 780-570-9644 or email [email protected] to cancel.
