Through interactive scenarios and expert perspectives, participants will gain insight into how trauma can affect behavior, communication, memory, and engagement with the justice system and what a truly trauma-informed, survivor-centered response looks like.
Pure Praxis, an internationally recognized theater group, will bring first-contact encounters to life through realistic, interactive scenarios. A SANE nurse will explain the forensic examination process and provide practical insight to help advocates better prepare and support survivors. Cindi Nannetti, a seasoned Maricopa County prosecutor with extensive experience handling sexual assault cases, will discuss the challenges of prosecuting these often complicated cases.
The training concludes with a conversation about recovery, resilience, and post-traumatic growth, focusing on how professionals can support survivors throughout their healing journey.
Come prepared to participate, reflect, ask questions, and see the sexual assault response through a different lens.
PAYING BY CHECK
If you need to pay by check click on the "Order Now" button. Fill out the registration information and then when you get to the payment method, there will be a drop-down box with options of payment method. There you can select "Pay By Check" this will allow you to register without paying at this time. However, payment must be received April 6, 2027. WHEN REGISTERING
Please ensure that your current e-mail address, position title along with your name is included in the registration information. Many agencies have accounting personal and/or supervisors who register for them, so be sure you enter your name and e-mail address when registering.
REFUNDS
A full refund minus registration site fees can be received by requesting it April 6, 2027 by going through the Eventbrite system or emailing [email protected]
IS MY REGISTRATION TRANSFERABLE?
You may transfer a registration from one person to another by April 16, 2027 by contacting Connie Chapman at [email protected].
