Join us at our first Sleazy Halloween Treat Swap.
Here’s how it works:
SIGN UP BY OCTOBER 11
Registration is $5 per participant and must be completed in advance.
OCTOBER 14, GET YOUR NUMBER
Once registration closes, we’ll let everyone know exactly how many portions to prepare, based on the final number of participants.
MAKE ONE VEGAN HALLOWEEN TREAT
Cookies. Brownies. Candy. Popcorn balls. Rice crispy treats. Mini cakes. Something creepy. Something cute. Something your grandmother made that you've successfully veganized. Your choice.
Make the assigned number of individually packaged portions of the same treat.
Everything must be 100% vegan; no meat, dairy, eggs, honey or other animal-derived ingredients.
Each portion must also be clearly labeled with:
Treat name • Complete ingredient list • Allergens
Please specifically identify major allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, wheat/gluten, soy and sesame when present. **Because these treats are being prepared in many different home kitchens, we cannot guarantee that any item is free from cross-contact with allergens.**
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29 • 6–7 PM WE SWAP!
Bring your individually packaged goodies to The Sleazy Vegan Café anytime between by 6 PM.
Drop off your treats. Pick up one from each of the other participating treat-makers. Head home with a ridiculous assortment of vegan Halloween goodies. Or stick around, grab some dinner, compare treats and meet the people who made them.
