About this Event
Hagar's encounter with God's love and compassion is one of the Old Testament's often-overlooked stories. Through teaching, prayer, Scripture and found poetry, you'll have space to respond creatively and personally.
Found poetry is a simple, accessible art form created by arranging cut-out words and phrases into meaningful, visually expressive poems, without the need for traditional grammar or punctuation.
Led by: Emma Phillips
Emma is an experienced artist and theologian who has taught adults and children both in England and Africa. She enjoys using a variety of art media including acrylic paints and inks, as well as digital drawing, founded on poetry and prose. Her interests include the intersection of faith, well-being, creativity, identity, storytelling through art.
