Join us for a celebratory afternoon at the Waakebiness Institute for Indigenous Health as we officially launch our new graphic novel, The Gathering Place: Toaando.
This project is a labor of love, centering Indigenous youth voices and Mother Earth. We invite you to step into the world of the story, meet the people behind the pages, and celebrate the power of Indigenous storytelling and health research.

• Meet the Creative Team: Connect with the researchers, artists, and visionaries who brought this graphic novel to life.
• Wisdom from Knowledge Keepers: We are honored to be joined by the Knowledge Keepers who guided this project. Hear firsthand about the cultural teachings and traditions woven into the narrative.
• Free Book Giveaway: Every attendee will receive a complimentary copy of The Gathering Place: Toaando to take home!
